Background |

| Sondra Chase was a promising young singer with a talent for
hitting the high note in the Star-Spangled Banner. However, exposure to
radiation during a freak xylophone accident unlocked vast mutant powers
that granted her the ability to use her voice as a weapon. Now unable to
continue the career she loved, Chase now focuses her attentions on the career
before her, as a superhero. With regards to her outfit, yes she wears a funky hat most of the time. Partly to protect her ears from the devastation of her own attack powers. Mostly, however, to protect everyone from the terrible hair she's stuck with thanks to her father's family history of horrific hair patterns. The side effect of helmet hair, of course, doesn't help... |
